THE Tyrone-cavan Division One Football League tie has been rescheduled for Sunday March 12. The refixture will take place at Healy Park in Omagh, which was deemed unplayable after incessant rainfall on Sunday, albeit there was some consternation that the call wasn’t made until about an hour before the scheduled 2pm throw-in. It means both counties will face games on five successive weekends up to the final round of fixtures on April 2. Tyrone’s Division 3A Allianz Hurling League tie with Donegal, which was also called off yesterday, will now go ahead on March 19, also at Healy Park. Meanwhile, the running order for the All-ireland club finals has been confirmed by the CCCC with later throw-in times than usual, 3pm and 5pm, at Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day. As has been the case every year since from 2008 on, the hurling final, between Cuala and Ballyea, gets underway first and will be followed by the football decider featuring Slaughtneil and Dr Crokes, which will now be completed under floodlights.
