£320k pledged for widow

AN official fundraising page for PC Keith Palmer’s widow and daughter smashed its £100,000 target within hours yesterday. By last night it stood at more than £320,000, making it the fastest growing Justgiving crowdfunding page in history. The Metropolitan Police Federation – which has 30,000 constables, sergeants, inspectors and chief inspectors – was prompted to set up the page after receiving a huge number of pleas from members.
