‘Raiders take puppy back’

A GIRL’S stolen puppy has been returned home – seemingly by the burglars.

Four-year-old Maya Hood’s pet was dumped back in the family’s garden four days after being pinched during a break-in.

Dad Ryan said: “We don’t know if the robber had a conscience or if they got scared because of all the media attention.”

Police had appealed for the public’s help to get the Labrador back. Jewellery was also stolen in the raid in Melbourne, Australia.
