Farage ‘secret 12-year affair’
NIGEL Farage lied about a 12-year affair with a vulnerable ex-aide “to save Brexit”, she has claimed.
Annabelle Fuller, 36, said the affair, that ended in October last year, helped trigger depression, selfharm and suicide attempts. She added: “Nigel and I knew we had to keep quiet to save Brexit.
“We are both liars and hypocrites but the reason I had to lie throughout the years was that I didn’t want UKIP or the cause to be damaged.”
She said there were sexual encounters with married MEP Farage, 53, in offices in the European Parliament as recently as last year.
Ms Fuller said Farage warned the Establishment would “come after you” if the affair was revealed. Yesterday he declined to confirm or deny it.
Pro-brexit entrepreneur Sir James Dyson called for the UK to walk away from EU talks, saying its demand for “billions and billions” was outrageous.
