LOUGHINISLAND documentary No Stone Unturned is to be rolled out to a number of new cinemas after a strong opening weekend.

It delves into a cold case that has frustrated victims’ families for over 20 years.

Six civilians were killed a further five wounded when three gunmen opened fire at a Co Down pub showing the Ireland v Italy match at the 1994 World Cup.

Producer Trevor Birney said: “We want as many people as possible to see this important film and it is encouraging that more cinemas have agreed to show it.

“It j ust proves, once again, that local audiences will come out to see films that deal with our past.”
