Holmes voted top breakfast TV presenter
EAMONN Holmes has been named the best UK breakfast TV presenter of all time by the Radio Times.
The Belfast man beat Johnny Vaughan , Piers Morgan and Dan Walker to take the top prize which was revealed last night.
He topped a poll of more than 33,000 Radiotimes. com readers with 35% of the vote from a shortlist of more than 50 contenders.
The 57-year-old tweeted: “Nice news to go to bed to. Thank you those of you who voted.”
He told the Radio Times: “If people feel fondly for you, for what you’ve done or what you’re known as, my goodness me, it begins to make all those early starts, all that lack of sleep, almost worthwhile.”
