The royals chatted to Adam and Sinead Murphy – the husband and wife team behind Shnuggle baby products – as they toured Catalyst Inc in the regenerate­d docklands.

When Mrs Murphy showed the prince their “bum bump” device to prevent babies slipping in the bath, he joked: “That takes all the fun out of bath time.”

Meghan and Harry were greeted by dignitarie­s such as Lord Mayor Nuala Mcallister and also met Nuala Campbell, who specialise­s in prosthetic props for the film industry.

The prince was brave enough to touch one of the lifeless rubbery fingers but said “That’s horrible” as Meghan gasped: “Oh my goodness.”
