TWO League One foot­ballers were led to court in hand­cuffs yes­ter­day af­ter an al­leged sex at­tack on a teenage hol­i­day­maker in Ibiza.

Charl­ton Ath­letic play­ers Reeco Hack­ett-fairchild and Kar­lan Ahearne­grant, both 20, were ar­rested early on Tues­day at a ho­tel near the party re­sort of San An­to­nio on the Span­ish is­land.

They ap­peared with a third man Olu­sola Ode­jayi, 26, be­fore a judge in Ibiza town yes­ter­day.

Strik­ers Hack­ett-fairchild and Ahearne-grant kept their heads down and said noth­ing as they were led from a po­lice car to the court build­ing.

Last night a fam­ily friend who has known Ahearne-grant since he was 11 said she was “in­cred­i­bly shocked” to hear of the play­ers’ ar­rests. She said: “I’m so sur­prised about that. I can’t be­lieve that. He’s a very nice boy.”
