Typecast? Not Jodie...

Daily Mirror (Northern Ireland) - - SQUARE EYES -

Here’s Doctor Foster’s Jodie Comer in one of eight “angry and dangerous” female monologues on BBC4, to mark 100 years of women getting the vote.

In Bovril Pam she plays a 1960s secretary who has a sexual awakening and discusses her first orgasm with typing pool pals.

The 15-minute dramas include one with Three Girls’s Liv Hill about the Yorkshire Ripper’s terror reign and Romola Garai of The Hour tackling casting couch sexism.

Other themes include mums accused of murder and marital rape. Two monologues a night will air from Monday at 10pm.
