A tearful last goodbye for Mirror’s Ann
FAMILY, friends and colleagues said farewell to much-loved Mirror journalist Ann Stenhouse at her funeral yesterday.
St Marylebone Crematorium in North London was packed for the mum of one, who died from cancer aged 41 on May 29.
Tributes were paid by dad Dave, brother Dave junior, partner Sophie, pal Dan Bourke and others.
Quick-witted and kind, Ann joined the Mirror group in 2002 and became a champion of equality and fairness in the many roles she held with our papers.
She leaves behind Sophie and son Louie, two.
Mirror Editor Alison Phillips said: “Ann was smart, funny and hugehearted – the embodiment of our values and beliefs.”
