Man suffers stab wounds to the neck
A MAN was hospitalised with “serious” injuries after an early morning stabbing yesterday.
The 24-year-old victim is reported to have suffered two wounds to the neck in the incident in West Belfast.
It took place in the Carrigart Avenue area shortly after 4.15am.
A police spokesman said: “A 32-year-old man was arrested for grievous bodily harm with intent, disorderly behaviour and assault on police. He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.”
Detectives have appealed for information.
