LLORIS: THIS IS WHERE TOTTENHAM HAVE TO BE
HUGO LLORIS claims Tottenham are back where they have to be after qualifying for the Champions League.
Spurs will return to Europe’s top club competition this season for the first time since 2011 after finishing third last season.
Goalkeeper Lloris (right) said: “It is an indescribable competition. This is where you have to be and where you want to be.”
Tottenham will be in pot three in today’s draw for the group stages in Monaco.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are among the giants they could draw from pot one.
Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla are three of the dangers lurking in pot two.
Spurs will be playing their home Champions League games at Wembley while work continues on their new ground at White Hart Lane. Defender Toby Alderweireld said: “It’s an unbelievable place and, when we play our games, it’s going to be full of supporters, so I’m really looking forward to playing there with all the Spurs fans around us.”
