A JOBLESS loner who used gay dating app Grindr to blackmail scores of men has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.

Liam Hull, 22, threatened to expose the double lives of victims, many married with children, unless they paid.

One coughed up more than £1,000. Another had a stroke due to stress after Hull contacted him, Luton crown court heard.

Hull, of Luton, admitted three counts of blackmail.

Judge Richard Foster, called blackmail “an ugly and most vicious” crime.
