Boat smash drug arrests

THREE suspected drug dealers were arrested after their boat crashed off the Isle of Wight yesterday.

One suffered serious head injuries, one a spinal injury, as their 20ft craft hit an obstacle just after 3am.

Hampshire Police said: “Three men were taken to hospital... Three men were subsequently arrested.”

Those held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs were a man of 39 from Waterlooville, another of Petersfield and a 34-year-old of Southsea.
