Boozy Matt wants to see the Queen half cut

MATT Edwards is desperate to win Britain’s Got Talent — so he can cut the Queen down to size.

The comic magician, who was Ant and Dec’s golden buzzer choice, wowed the judges by pouring himself tequila and then producing an endless stream of salt.

Matt, 34, from Suffolk, is dreaming about appearing at the Royal Variety Performanc­e, saying: “I’d love to saw the Queen in half.

“I don’t think anyone has done that — I’d like to give it a go. I’ve never cut anyone in half before. I could try.”

Matt is also hoping to take over from fellow magician Stephen Mulhern on Britain’s Got More Talent. He joked: “If ITV want to phone me up, I’ll see what I can do. I’d love to carry on this journey.” He will be hoping to win the nation over tonight to go through to Sunday’s grand final. Two acts will progress this evening with viewer votes and the judges picking an extra wildcard for the final.
