My worst heckler was a dog, says comic Jonny

-

COMEDIAN Jonny Awsum has revealed the worst heckler he ever had was a dog. He said: “I did a gig in a pub and they had this great big alsatian and whenever I went to tell a joke it barked at me. It was the scariest heckler I’ve had. “What can you do? You can’t even use a put down line on an alsatian.” Jonny, 39, from Croydon, South London, also revealed his harshest critic is not Simon Cowell, but his five-year-old- daughter. He said: “She is what I use as my audience when I’m rehearsing. I get her to sit on a bar stool in the kitchen and I deliver to her as if I’m doing it to a studio audience.

“If I can get a laugh out of her then I know that it’s going to work.”

Jonny, who enlisted Ant and Dec in his audition, said the duo were safe tonight but said he had his “eye on one of the judges”. Other acts in tonight’s live semi-final are: Paws With Soul, a dance group in animal masks were a wow with their routine.

Henry Hall, 84, and Malcolm White, 74, also known as The Pensionalities.

Ryan Tracey, 35, who broke the record for making balloon animals while blindfolded.

Singer Reuben Gray, 16, who sang a song he wrote to win back his girlfriend.

John Parnell, 63, a hula-hoop expert who got judges dizzy after he got them on stage.

Welsh school choir Angelicus Celtis, who gave a stunning Nessun Dorma at audition.
