Kante has to keep on

CLAUDE MAKELELE has told double Player of the Year N’Golo Kante: You’re still not at my level.

Makele is regarded as one of the greatest defensive midfielders ever, and his honours include two titles at Chelsea and the 2002 Champions League with Real Madrid.

Kante, 26, has won the Premier League in successive years with Leicester and Chelsea.

But Makelele, 44, said: “At the moment Kante is special and one of the best.

“The problem is, I played 25 years in football at this level. Comparisons are made in a bad way.”
