Bomber warped online & by pals
MANCHESTER bomber Salman Abedi was radicalised online and by pals in the UK, his younger brother claims.
Hashem, 20, is being held in Libya and also told authorities he bought equipment for his brother – but did not know where his attack would be.
Spokesman Ahmed Bin Salem said: “Hashem said he and Salman got the ideology of Daesh [Islamic State] in Manchester in 2015 from the internet and some friends in the UK.”
They flew to Libya on April 18 and Abedi, 22, returned a week before his attack, which killed 22. Bin Salem added: “Hashem said he bought the necessary things for Salman and Salman was planning an attack but he did not know where.”
