Charlie’s plea at Euro court

THE parents of ill baby Charlie Gard are set to hear today if the European Court of Human Rights will come to their aid.

Chris Gard and Connie Yates want 10-month Charlie, who has a rare genetic condition, to go to the US for trial treatment.

Great Ormond Street Hospital in Central London says the therapy will not help and wants to end life-support. On Friday the Supreme Court agreed, and said Charlie should be allowed to die with dignity.
