REALITY

-

ITV, 8.30pm When a group of celebrities decided to re-enact the famous strip tease from the iconic film The Full Monty, the fear was palpable. Isn’t standing on stage naked in front of thousands of people usually the stuff of nightmares?

But Alexander Armstrong, McFly’s Harry Judd, TOWIE’s Elliott Wright, ballet dancer Wayne Sleep, former Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden, TV presenter Dom Littlewood and Red Dwarf actor Danny John-Jules all stepped up to the bare-bottomed BARING ALL Alexander Armstrong challenge. The aim was to perform the famous routine at the London Palladium to raise awareness of men’s cancers. And this film follows the celebs as choreographer Ashley Banjo puts them through their paces.

But with only six days, it’s a tall order. And it’s hardly fair to take your shirt off next to Ashley, who resembles a Greek sculpture.

There’s a brilliantly funny moment when Ashley gets them all dancing down the aisles of ASDA, and there’s terror as they approach a dress rehearsal at Shiregreen’s working men’s club.

But you can see the evidence of their success in today’s Mirror. SUSPICION Constantine is laid to rest
