Tired? Reach for make-up
MORE women wear makeup to disguise tiredness – 41% – than for any other reason, a survey found.
Hiding blemishes was why 39% reached for the cosmetics and 25% did it to look younger.
Among 16 to 24-yearolds, 22% told analysts Mintel they wore make-up to be selfie-ready.
Beauty and personal care boss Roshida Khanom said confidence rated higher than attractiveness “as an emotional impact of wearing make-up”.
