KIDS HAVE IT TOO EASY SAYS JONES

- FROM ADAM HATHAWAY in Santa Fe

EDDIE JONES’ youngsters nailed a series whitewash against the Pumas – but he still reckons the kids are not all right. Jones (inset) had 30 players missing due to the Lions and injuries. He blooded 11 debutants on this trip, but insists Premiership youngsters have it too easy, too early.

He said: “The younger players are not hungry enough.

“They play in the Under-20s, become World Cup champions and get a contract straight away. That doesn’t happen in any other country.”
