REFLECTION RULED OUT

-

QUIET REFLECTION is out of Saturday’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Karl Burke-trained filly gained a popular Group 1 success when landing the Commonwealth Cup at the royal meeting 12 months ago, following up in the Haydock Sprint Cup in September.

But her trainer (above) said yesterday: “Quiet Reflection won’t make it to Ascot — she has just had a recurrence of the problems which affected her early in the season, and it will rule her out of the July Cup, too. “We’ll hopefully have her back for an autumn campaign — the obvious races are the Sprint Cup at Haydock and Ascot on Champions Day.”
