Rescuer gets rook of love

A DISABLED rook is obsessed by the animal lover who adopted him – and jealous of her hubby.

Helen Motteram’s bird Russell Crow sleeps in her room and pecks both her and Tristan if they show each other affection.

The pet behaviourist, 35, said “needy” Crow also steals her credit cards and jewellery, and knocks pictures off walls at home in Cheltenham, Glos.

She said: “Rooks form very strong bonds. He sees me as one of his own.”
