MPs in plea to activists

SENIOR Labour figures are demanding party activists stop trying to oust “antiCorbyn” MPs.

Shadow Education Secretary Angela Rayner said they should focus on the “real enemy”.

Ms Rayner, an ally of Jeremy Corbyn, backed MP Luciana Berger in her fight with Momentum. “We are a big movement,” she said.

Shadow Brexit Secretary Sir Keir Starmer and Work and Pensions Shadow Debbie Abrahams support her call.
