Nazi guard to face charges

A FORMER Nazi officer, now aged 99, is to be charged with war crimes.

The unnamed SS guard was identified by the last survivor of the Stutthof concentration camp near Gdansk, in Nazioccupied Poland.

German investigators spoke to ex-prisoner Judy Meisel, 88, at her home in Minnesota, US.

Meisel, whose mother was killed in Stutthof, said: “Nobody stopped them. They didn’t feel as if we were any kind of humans.”
