SWATCHWORD FOR PROFIT
Watch firm Swatch has revealed a timely jump in profits.
The Swiss firm made just over £300million in the first half of this year – up 10% on last year, with sales up 1.2%.
It comes after the group announced an extension to its contract with the International Olympic Committee.
The deal means its Omega brand will be the games’ official timekeeper until 2032 – 100 years since the tie-up began.
