ROMA WANT RIYAD

LEICESTER boss Craig Shakespeare admits there HAS been a bid from Roma for Riyad Mahrez – after claiming earlier this week the Foxes had not received one.

City received a £20million offer for the midfielder (right) from the Italian club, but it did not meet their £50m valuation. Speaking before today’s Asia Trophy final against Liverpool, Shakespeare said: “There was a bid from Roma. It was politely declined on the basis that it was a low offer.”
