Marko’s blast at ‘little’ Stoke
MARKO ARNAUTOVIC has hit back at Stoke, claiming new club West Ham are bigger and more ambitious.
Arnautovic was responding to Stoke chairman Peter Coates’ jibe that he had been disloyal to the Potters after they had resurrected his career.
The Austria forward, who has completed a £25million move to east London, said: “To the fans I was, can I say, a hero and now I am zero, but that’s football. I wanted to join West Ham because it’s a bigger, more ambitious club. That’s clear from the signings we’ve made.”
