Botham’s beef on shooting question

The ex-England cricket captain, 61, is backing a scheme to provide 500,000 free game meals every year.
He will donate 10,000 birds from his shooting estates to the Country Food Trust plus £40,000 to turn them into meals. But when Radio 5 Live host Rachel Burden challenged him about shooting birds for sport, he accused her of having an “agenda”.
One listener accusing him of “bullying”but another wrote: “Burden a disgrace. Hijacked with agenda.”
