City a Bor for Baston

- BY ALEX BYWATER

SWANSEA reject Borja Baston has slammed the club.

The striker was a record £15.5million buy for City under axed manager Francesco Guidolin but managed just six starts and one goal last season and has gone on loan to Malaga.

Any chance of a return looks over after the Spaniard criticised the club and Guidolin’s short-lived replacement, Bob Bradley.

Baston said: “I arrived with an arm injury. Just as I was recovering, I had a small quadriceps problem.

“I recovered and played a couple of games, but then they fired the manager who brought me in.

“It was difficult after that as the manager who came in drove the team mad. He made lots of changes and we didn’t know what we were trying to do.”
