Brit ‘hunted over Chicago stab murder’
AN Oxford University employee and a US professor are being hunted by police over a murder in Chicago.
Warrants have been issued for Somerville College’s Andrew Warren, 56, and Wyndham Lathem, 42, who is a microbiologist from the local Northwestern University.
Hair stylist Trenton Cornell-Duranleau, 26, was found with multiple stab wounds in Lathem’s 10th floor apartment on July 27.
Reports claim police are probing “a variety of motives including a possible domestic incident”.
Warren, from Swindon, Wilts, is in charge of payroll and pensions at Somerville College.
A University statement said it had not been “aware of this case, which is extremely concerning”.
