One dead as vessel sinks

ONE man has died and two others are missing after a boat sank in the English Channel.

The body was recovered by a coastguard helicopter at yesterday off Shoreham, West Sussex. Another man, a 45-year-old from London, was found by a fisherman clinging to a buoy two miles out at 6am.

The hunt for the two lost men was suspended yesterday afternoon.

Sussex Police said the four were thought to be friends on a fishing trip.
