‘Cage mum’s killer longer’
A DEVASTATED daughter is demanding tougher sentencing for the man who killed her mother in Spain and buried her in a shallow grave.
Charlie Bevill-Warcup, 78, got 14 years for beating Rose Broadwell, 76, to death with a walking stick at their home in Alicante.
Rose’s daughter Cheryl Webster, of Goole, Yorkshire said: “The sentence is not enough. We’ll appeal”
For six months, the killer pretended to search for his missing partner until he confessed to police.
