PC culture facilitated sick abuse, says peer
BRITAIN’S former chief prosecutor says political correctness allows Asian grooming gangs to abuse white girls in “profoundly racist” crimes.
Lord Macdonald, who was director of public prosecutions from 2003 to 2008, warned of a “major problem” among some Asian communities who see young white girls as “trash”.
He said: “I think there has been a reluctance to investigate.”
TRASH
The Lib Dem peer said the latest case must be a “wake-up call” for Asian communities, adding: “There is a particular issue about some men who feel these young girls are trash who are available for sex.”
Labour’s Women and Equalities Secretary Sarah Champion backed him, saying we need to acknowledge most perpetrators “have been British-Pakistani”.
And she said people have been too scared to report crimes because they were ”afraid to be called a racist”.
The Rotherham MP added: “I’ve met social workers who, trying to report this crime, were sent on race relations courses. They (faced) disciplinary action if they didn’t remove the fact they were identifying a Pakistani male.”
