Body in car at police station

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after pulling up outside a police station with a body in the front passenger seat.

The driver, 40, was held after the dead man was found in the BMW at about 10.20am yesterday.

West Bromwich police station’s front office was temporarily closed as the area was cordoned off.

Det Insp Harry Harrison, from West Midlands Police, said: “We suspect the man died some time before the body was driven to West Bromwich.”
