Children are a £1,500 loss
MUMS spend £1,589 replacing stuff lost by kids – and two days in total looking for it, says a study.
The average child misplaces an astonishing 483 belongings between the ages of three and 10.
And 62% of lost property, from coats and hats to cuddly toys, is never found.
Yet 25% of mums do not use name tags.
Fiona Mills, of kids’ label firm Neatlynamed, which quizzed 1,000 mums, said: “It makes you wonder where all the items go.”
