UK’s £302m hols exports
HOLIDAY products exported by UK firms hit £302million last year, HM Revenue & Customs said.
It included £160million in sunglasses, £93million of swimwear and £16million in ice cream.
International Trade Secretary Liam Fox, in favour of Brexit, said: “It shows increasing demand for home-grown products.
“Our department is supporting British business to take advantage of the growing global markets after we leave the EU.”
