Living Wage draws talent

-

FOUR out of five students would take a “dim view” of a boss who failed to pay staff the real Living Wage, a study reveals today.

School leavers “seek out evidence of ethical practices” by firms they might work for, said the Living Wage Foundation report.

Director Katherine Chapman said: “If you want top talent, you need to treat all staff fairly and pay a real Living Wage.”

It pays £8.45 an hour, £9.75 in London, higher than the Tory’s “national living wage” of just £7.50.
