Miranda Hart’s mum says her gardening show was inspired by the comedian’s love of horticultural double-entendres.

Dee Hart Dyke, who will front Britain’s Secret Gardens for More 4, said: “Everything I say, she turns into innuendo. She loves terms like pricking on and rampant climbers. The series was born out of her humour.”
