PERISIC IN SIGHT FOR MOURINHO

- BY DAVID McDONNELL

MANCHESTER UNITED have not given up on Ivan Perisic – with a £39million offer to Inter Milan still on the table.

United have been trying to land Perisic, 28, throughout the close season but have been put off by Inter’s £48m valuation of the Croatia winger.

Jose Mourinho identified Perisic (left) as one of four players he wanted to sign, with the United boss having already landed his other three targets – Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof.

United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is understood to have met Perisic’s agent, Fali Ramadani, in recent days, and Ramadani is also said to have held talks in Milan with Inter officials.
