WAR: TIGERS KEN FORGET ABOUT SIGNING ZOHORE
NEIL WARNOCK has told Hull they are living in “cuckoo-land” if they think they can get Kenneth Zohore on the cheap.
The Tigers claimed they had a £10million bid for the Denmark Under-21 striker (above) rejected this week.
But Bluebirds boss Warnock insists he is staying and denies a bid was made.
“Ken won’t be going anywhere,” said Warnock. “We haven’t had an offer, I don’t know where it’s come from.
“Are they in cuckoo-land? Do they think Zohore will go to Hull when he’s playing this well? If he goes anywhere it will be to a Premier League club.”
Both sides have won all three of their opening matches, but Cardiff have spent only £3m compared to Wolves’ £19m.
Warnock added: “You can’t blame them for spending money, but we’re not going there in awe of them.”
