RUSSELL ALL SET FOR D-DAY

DAVY RUSSELL says he is happy to speak to the Irish Turf Club after appearing to strike Kings Dolly in the face at Tramore last Friday.

The Turf Club are expected to make a decision on whether to take any action by the end of the week.

Russell has been heavily criticised, but he said: “I’m not sure everyone quite understands how a thoroughbred racehorse handles at race time.“
