Rumours suggest even the Royal Family stream the episodes, with Prince Harry confirming he watched it.

The second series begins with the fallout from the Suez Crisis in 1956. Claire Foy, who plays Queen Elizabeth, says of the new series: “We go up to ‘64. The first series was very much about the family and her finding her role after her father died and this series is very much about the outside world.”
