Sex second to Facebook

PEOPLE would rather check social media than have sex after waking up.

Facebook or Twitter first thing was more popular than a sex session, especially with men. But the poll of 2,000 Britons by Duerr’s found women prefer a hug and a kiss.

Early sunshine, though, was popular for both sexes.

Richard Duerr, the jam firm’s marketing chief, urged people not to rush their routine first thing. “Start the day as you mean to go on,” he added.
