BRYCE IS RIGHT FOR SOUTHGATE
GARETH SOUTHGATE has brought in an Aussie to boost England’s World Cup hopes.
Bryce Cavanagh (below) has been appointed as the FA’s head of physical performance and nutrition, and he put the players through their paces in training yesterday.
His exercises saw them working with sticks and medicine balls to improve fitness at Tottenham’s training HQ in Hertfordshire.
England have already brought in Scottish striker coach Allan Russell.
They have also spoken to Germany’s FA about how to prepare for tournaments and an adviser to the All Blacks, who have strict rules on the attitudes of players.
