Rooney is looking razor-sharp again

IT WAS a close shave for Wayne Rooney, but he has been accepted back into the Everton fold.

The striker arrived at his club’s training ground with an impressive growth of stubble as he faced boss Ronald Koeman following his drink-driving charge.

Rooney’s agent Paul Stretford also turned up at the club’s Finch Farm training ground and the star later left clean shaven – ready to face the future with renewed confidence.
