BAN THE BANNS, BOND
Having been a James Bond anorak for as far back as I can remember, I think the producers of 007 films should think again about their storyline for the next film, in which Bond marries the heroine from the previous film, Spectre.
I’m sure the late Cubby Broccoli, who produced many early Bond films, wouldn’t be too happy about it.
No girl who Bond falls for survives, but more than anything else, this storyline has already been done in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969.
Surely the franchise’s current producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, can come up with something more original? Chris Holden, Urmston, Manchester
