When Laura confided in Katy, I’d have expected her sister to be a little more compassionate. Yes, she works with Andrew and pretty much forced them on a date, but it seems callous of her to immediately spring to his defence.

Add in her affair with Laura’s ex-boyfriend Tom and she’s definitely cold-hearted enough to be guilty.

Consider Katy’s medical background, her knowledge of date rape drug GHB’s lasting effects, the fact she was so desperate for Laura and Andrew to hook up before Tom’s side of the bed was even cold – Katy’s bang to rights and has set up Andrew. One thing we definitely agreed on, though, was how terrible Laura and Andrew’s date chat was. James’s view Squeaky clean surgeon Andrew Earlham thinks he’s got his story all scrubbed up, but it doesn’t wash with me. He clearly meticulously set up the rape, and thinks he’s being clever in his attempts to cover his tracks afterwards. From the “my phone battery died and I can’t call a cab” excuse to come into Laura’s flat, to telling friends he really likes her and wants to see her again, he is just too well thought-out to be credible. Earlham even refers to his “wonderful night” text while being interviewed by police. It’s exactly why the super-smart sleazebag set it up in the first place. ANDREW To be unmasked?
