John’s life plan a little bit Fawlty

Comedian John Cleese might want to rethink his life plans.

Earlier this month, the Fawlty Towers star, 77, said he and wife Jennifer might up sticks for a quiet life in the sunshine.

He said: “I said to my dear wife, ‘This is so crazy, North Korea is lobbing missiles over Japan. And Trump continues every day with this lunacy. Why don’t we go somewhere very, very quiet to live?’”

Speaking just days before Hurricane Irma hit, he then mused: “I thought maybe the Caribbean...”
